There is something incredibly romantic and inspiring about a city centered on earthy, homegrown principles. As I wandered around Pike Street Market, I could definitely feel a fashion pulse that was both rugged and chic. My perfect little fall dress from Topshop that I scored during the Nordstrom anniversary sale had just the right bit of earthiness to blend in with the locals. I paired it with flat Chelsea boots, tights and an overcoat from Zara. Here’s just a sampling of sites you should savor while in Seattle. First up you must visit Capitol Hill, where coffee lover’s can spend hours enjoying a savory sip at the flagship Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room. Next up, is a view of the beautiful edges and skyline of Seattle from the Space Needle. This 520 ft. view of the coast is simply breathtaking. Finally, once back from space, just a short walk away is The Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit. There you’ll take in amazing murals, flowers and glass sculptures, all under the misty Pacific Northwestern skies. This is a great spot for photos, whether for your blog, or just a selfie.
